Iuka Man Dies In Thursday Night Crash

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is still investigating a single vehicle crash, in Tishomingo County, that claimed the life of an Iuka man.

Troopers responded to MS 25, just south of MS 350, at approximately 11:05pm, Thursday night.

Upon arriving it appeared Wendell Dobbs, 52, of Iuka, was traveling south bound, in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, when he apparently lost control of his vehicle. The truck collided into an embankment and overturned.

Dobbs was ejected from his vehicle and died from injuries sustained in the crash.
