Jackson State University receives new president Thomas Hudson
JACKSON, MISS. (WCBI) – Thomas Hudson is named President of Jackson State University.
In a meeting earlier today, The Board of Trustees of State Institutions made the decision.
Hudson was made acting president earlier this year.
The Board stated that Hudson provided leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic and helped to improve the university’s financial position.
Hudson has been a member of the Jackson State staff since 2012.
