Jasmine Murray Sings In West Point

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – Recording artist and Mississippi native Jasmine Murray spread music and words of inspiration to elementary students in West Point this morning.

Murray was the special guest at Church Hill Elementary’s Black History Program.

In addition to performing her recently released singles, Murray also encouraged the first and second graders to work hard to achieve their dreams.

Murray was Miss Mississippi 2014 and was a finalist on Season 8 of “American Idol.”

The students also performed during the program.
