Jury Selection Begins In Murder Trial

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The men accused of shooting and killing a man on Dixie Road in Montpelier are in court this week.

Jury selection began this afternoon in the Clay County murder trial of Raheem Johnson, 38.

Johnson, along with Roderick Johnson and Casey Watkins, is charged in the death of James White.

The Houston man was shot multiple times on the night of May 15th, 2015.

The original murder trial was pushed back because of severe weather in January.

Judge Jim Kitchens is presiding.
