Kidnapping Charges Filed Following Chase

LEE COUNTY (WCBI) – A 33 year old man is being held on a number of charges after authorities say he ran from police, and crashed his car in Lee County Sunday night.

PALMER

Michael Palmer is accused of running  from Baldwyn police.  Authorities say Palmer also threw drugs out of his car as he was being chased.

The pursuit ended in Lee County after Lee County Sheriff’s deputies deployed spikes, and Palmer crashed his car near 370 and Highway 45.

Palmer is being held on a 251 thousand dollar bond on charges of kidnapping, felony fleeing, probation violation and possession of methamphetamine.
