Kroger employees receiving ‘thank you’ bonus

Kroger employees will receive an added boost in their paychecks.

It’s called “Thank You Pay” and the company said the money was to acknowledge the hard work their associates have done on the front lines of stores.

The one-time bonus is $400 for qualified full-time associates and $200 for qualified part-time associates. It will hit paychecks in two installments on May 30 and June 18.

Many employees received additional bonus pay in March and April.

Kroger will also continue to provide COVID19 emergency leave. That’s paid time off to workers who are most directly affected by the virus or those experiencing symptoms.
