Video: Lee County Shooting Leaves One Dead

VERONA (WCBI) – A teen is dead following an afternoon shooting in Verona.  Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green says the 17 year old male died just after 4:30 from wounds suffered in the incident.

The shooting took place just after four on Clements Road near Mattox Street.

Verona Police Chief JB Long says the alleged shooter left in a white car with tented windows.

The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending notification of family.

Verona Police are leading the investigation
