Video: Lehmberg Road On Schedule To Open Friday

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Lehmberg Road could be open by noon Friday.

Road crews put the finishing touches on the east Columbus project on Thursday.

The portion of the road from Lowndes Funeral Home to the closed bridge was paved.

Columbus also made sure the roadway from the bridge to the Highway 50 intersection was paved.

The Mississippi Department of Transportation is responsible for the highway and its right-of-way.

Lehmberg Road is scheduled to open at 10 AM Friday, which is 11 days ahead of schedule.
