Living Wax Musuem

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – Some elementary school students in West Point are receiving a history lesson and a lesson in giving back.

Church Hill Elementary turned into a living wax museum this week.

The tour through history included prominent men and women from Mississippi’s past and present, who’ve made a positive impact.

Quest program students from Church Hill and South Side did this to help honor the state’s 200th birthday.

This is the last day of the event.

All proceeds from the tours will go to the student’s classmate Lila Usry, a fourth grader, recently diagnosed with Leukemia.
