Local First Graders Learn Heart Healthy Lessons

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) — You’re never too young to start developing good habits in keeping a healthy heart.

That’s the lesson Church Hill Elementary School first graders learned Wednesday.

Tracy Stebbins of The Wellness Center answered student questions on the topic.

She also led the kids in exercises they could use at home.

Stebbins says being active is highly encouraged in order to have a healthy heart.
