Local nonprofit helps most vulnerable clients with food giveaway

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A local nonprofit spent Friday morning in Starkville helping its most vulnerable.

Prairie Opportunity Inc. Community Action Agency gave out food for the nonprofit’s elderly and disabled clients at the Starkville Sportsplex.

Case managers gave out bags of chicken, canned tuna and vegetables, and bottles of water.

About 75 bags of food were given away.
