Video: Local Women Help Habitat For Humanity

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Dozens of women in Columbus ditched their day jobs to work on a construction site Tuesday.

Habitat for Humanity is celebrating “Women Build Week.” The program brings together women from all walks of life to help build a Habitat home.

Volunteers in Columbus worked on a house under construction on Hemlock Drive.

Several employees from Lowe’s also helped with the project.

This is the ninth year Columbus Lowndes Habitat for Humanity has partnered with Lowe’s for its projects.
