Louisville Appoints New Police Chief

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- There’s a new top cop in Louisville.

On Tuesday, city leaders unanimously agreed to appoint Sean Holdiness as the new chief of police.

This decision comes after current Police Chief L.M. Claiborne announced his retirement.

Holdiness previously worked with the Mississippi Highway Patrol and also serves as Lieutenant Colonel in the Mississippi Air National Guard.

An official start date for Holdiness has not been set.
