Lowndes County community centers to remain closed

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – It will be at least another month before community centers reopen in Lowndes County.

Supervisors made that decision Friday morning.

They voted to keep the doors closed at county community centers until July 1.

The community centers in Lowndes County have large open rooms, smaller meeting areas and kitchens for events and group gatherings.
