Lowndes County Man Pleads Guilty for Child Sex Crime

LOWNDES CO., Miss. (WCBI-TV) –  A Lowndes County man is still going to jail for a child sex crime, even though he changes his plea.

52 year-old Christopher Tedford withdrew his guilty plea of sexual battery Monday morning in Lowndes County Circuit Court.

Instead, Tedford pleaded guilty to fondling a child under 14.

Judge Lee Coleman sentenced Tedford to 15 years with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
