Lowndes County Sheriff’s office celebrates National Police Officers week

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) Various shades of blue balloons took to the sky today.

The shades of blue represent local law enforcement officers.

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s office is one of many departments that honored the fallen officers this week.

This is National Police Officer’s week. Officers are being honored for their service and fallen officers are remembered for their dedication and duty to the communities they served.
