Lowndes Meth Bust

CALEDONIA, Miss. (WCBI) – A traffic stop leads to a Hamilton man’s arrest in Caledonia.

Lowndes County Narcotics Task Force agents say David Dewayne Wooten, 39, is charged with running a stop sign, suspended drivers license, and possession of meth with intent to distribute.

Wooten was stopped by a Caledonia Town Marshal on May 12th.

About 10 grams of ICE was found inside Wooten’s vehicle and the case was turned over to the Narcotics Task Force.

Agents say scales and plastic baggies were also found.

Wooten has been arrested for drug possession in the past, according to agents.
