Macon Main Street Closes Its Doors

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – Macon Main Street is closing its doors.

The Board of Directors made the announcement today, September 25, and cited declining membership as the key factor.

President Buz McGuire said that the City of Macon had always been a willing supporter and expressed his appreciation to all their volunteers.

Macon became a Main Street community in 2002 and in that span organized numerous projects and events to revitalize the area.
