Video: Man Arrested After For Alleged Terrorist Threat

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Georgia man is accused of making terroristic threats to Tishomingo County Courthouse employees, shortly after the Las Vegas mass-shooting.

While trucking for Tyson foods, Bernard Sylvester Hird Junior was issued a citation by MDOT for failure to stop at the scales office.

Investigators say after refusing to pay the additional fees for missing his court date, the Jonesboro, Georgia resident began to threaten the Justice Court employee over the phone.

Hird was picked up at a traffic stop near Atlanta on Sunday, October 22.

He was extradited to the Tishomingo County Jail earlier today.

Bond has not been set.
