Man Charged After Marijuana Found

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — More than two pounds of marijuana found during a Starkville traffic stop lands a man in jail.

Starkville Police say 34-year-old Ryan Rashaad Johnson is charged with trafficking in marijuana and misdemeanor traffic violations following the stop Thursday at the intersection of Henderson and Picher streets.

Officers say more than two pounds of marijuana and an undisclosed amount of cash was found in his car.

Bond is set at $20,000.
