Man Charged In Chickasaw County Fatal Accident

HOUSTON ( WCBI) – A Chickasaw County man is jailed in connection with a fatal car crash in Chickasaw County.

Sheriff Jim Meyers says Johnny Baskin is charged with Aggravated DUI Associated With Death.  Baskin was the driver of the pickup along with passenger Lacie Sykes of Pontotoc.  Baskin crashed the truck and Sykes was thrown from it on Highway 15 south of Houston last week.  Sykes was airlifted to NMMC where she passed away Friday.
