Man Accused Of Shooting Into Neighbors’ Homes

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – 57-year-old Ken Ray Hargett faces several charges after shooting into an occupied dwelling and felony possession of cocaine.

Columbus Spokesman Joe Dillon says the incident occured on Sweet Gum Lane off of Holly Hill Roads.

Police say there was no evidence of a break-in.

Investigators say the Columbus-Lowndes Drug Task Force was called in and found illegal drugs.

Hargett’s bond is set for $70,000.

He is being held at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.
