Man injured in afternoon crash in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A man is hospitalized after a serious crash Thursday afternoon in Columbus.

It happened around 1:30 Thursday afternoon on Highway 12.

Witnesses on scene said that a Penske Truck collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

A person in the jeep was ejected after it rolled over according to those on the scene of the crash.

The seriousness of the man’s injuries is unknown.

Columbus police are investigating the accident.
