Video: Man Shot In The Head In Aberdeen Shooting

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – A man was shot in the head at an Aberdeen business on Monday night.

It happened just about 7:30 P.M. at Schrock’s Tire and Auto on Commerce Street.

Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says a group of people were at the business drinking when an argument erupted between two men.

Cantrell says both men grabbed a gun and at least one shot was fired.

One man was taken into custody and another is being questioned.

Investigators are not releasing any names at this time.

Aberdeen police are investigating the shooting, with assistance from Monroe County deputies.

There’s no word on the victim’s condition.
