Mantee continues Christmas tradition
MANTEE, Miss. (WCBI)- It’s feeling more and more like Christmas everyday.
With the temperatures dropping and parades happening across North Mississippi, everyone’s getting into the holiday spirit.
Thursday night folks in Mantee kept a local Christmas tradition alive.
In its annual parade people passed out candy in decorative floats and the band marched to all the Christmas favorites.
After the parade dozens gathered at Pop’s Diner to visit with Santa and eat a hot bowl of chili.
The gathering at the diner or the community center has been a staple in the city’s Christmas parade each year.
