Marietta man injured in Prentiss County Crash

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- One man is flown to an area hospital with life threatening injuries after a crash in Prentiss County.

It happened Tuesday afternoon on MS 4 near County Road 4101.

Troopers say Brent Wilemon, 49, of Marietta, was heading east on MS 4 when he lost control of his 2006 Cadillac Escalade.

The vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree before overturning, according to troopers.

Troopers say it appears Wilemon was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash is still under investigation.
