MDOC searches for escapee with ties To Lee and Union counties

A search is underway for an escaped inmate. 

HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) –  The Mississippi Department of Corrections is searching for 40-year old Christopher Davis.

He was discovered missing from the Hinds County Restitution Center Saturday evening.

Davis has four convictions in Lee and Union counties.

He was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and grand larceny in Lee County and burglary and grand larceny in Union County.
