MDWFP to launch full certification online hunter education class
MISSISSIPPI (WCBI) – Mississippi residents will soon be able to complete their hunter education requirement online.
Starting October 1, residents 16-years-old and over will be able to take the Today’s Hunter in Mississippi online class on the Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks website. Residents under 16 who choose to take the internet course will still need to attend a three-hour classroom course before being certified.
The certificate from the class can be shown as a digital copy or a paper copy to to license vendors to buy a hunting license.
Mississippi law requires all persons born after January 1, 1972 to complete a hunter education course before purchasing a Mississippi hunting license.
