Meeting For All Military In Starkville

Starkville, Miss. (WCBI) — Active duty and retired officers from all branches of the military met Saturday to discuss their financial futures.

Members of the military from across the state of Mississippi met in Starkville with the Military Officers Association of America, also know as the M.O.A.A.

Representatives from the organization came to discuss key legislative issues coming straight from Capital Hill that will affect military families.

“We should be helping every member of the military whether they’re a veteran, or a spouse, or a survivor, with their quality of life and quality of service.”, said President and CEO of M.O.A.A. Vice Admiral (Ret.) Norbert Ryan.

The U.S.A.A. was also present to help service men and women with wealth management.

The state of Mississippi has 3,172 members of the M.O.A.A.

The organization is the country’s largest military officers’ association, with more than 380,000 members nationwide.
