MEMA temporary housing approval expected soon

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – 25 storm victims in Lowndes County applied for temporary housing help.

The assistance from the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is helping people impacted by the February tornado and flooding.

MEMA had several opportunities for people to apply.

Residents had to provide a rental lease or deed to their property.

Those that were approved should be notified in the coming weeks.
