MHP Identifies Victims Of Fatal Tippah County Wreck

TIPPAH COUNTY, MS ( MHP RELEASE)The Mississippi Highway Patrol is still investigating a mid-morning, head-on crash in Tippah County that claimed the life of two Dumas residents.

Troopers responded to MS 370, near Dumas, at approximately 9:25 a.m.

Upon arriving, it appeared Brady Jones, 62, of Dumas, was traveling west, in a 2006 Hyundai, when his vehicle appeared to cross the center line and collide head-on into a 2005 GMC, driven by Tony Vandygriff, 40, of Dumas.

Both men received fatal injuries from the crash and died on the scene.
