MHP trooper involved in vehicle crash; Minor injuries reported

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A two-vehicle crash involving a Mississippi Highway Patrol trooper is under investigation.

Two vehicles were driving along South Frontage Road in Lowndes County with one vehicle heading eastbound and the MHP trooper heading westbound.

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office said the eastbound driver swerved into the opposite lane, striking the patrol car.

Both drivers were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle for minor injuries.
