Mild Weekend, Cooler Next Week
SATURDAY: The day is going to start off on a cloudy note but we expect more and more sun to break out as the day goes on. Look for highs in the mid to upper 60s. Weather should be good for the Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa with kickoff temperatures in the 60s.
SATURDAY NIGHT: The sky will be variably cloudy and lows should be in the mid 40s. Overall a quiet night around the region.
SUNDAY: A mild day is on tap with expected highs around 70. Clouds will increase as a cold front approaches and there is the chance of a few afternoon showers. We’re going to keep the rain chance in the 20-30% range so it’s not going to be a washout by any means. Southwesterly winds push back up into the 10 to 15 mph range.
EARLY NEXT WEEK: Plan on cool and dry conditions with lots of sun. Highs may struggle to get to 50 Monday and Tuesday while overnight lows tumble back down below freezing once again.
