TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A happy ending for a Tishomingo family, after a missing teen with special needs is found safe.

According to Sheriff John Daughtery, 14 year-old Jacob Monroe, of Iuka, was reported missing around 10 Tuesday night.

This morning, the boy was found in a barn.

Jacob is currently been checked by medical personnel but seems to be healthy.

Sheriff Daugherty says this missing persons case could have had a different ending, but because so many concerned residents helped search for the child, Jacob is now safe and warm with his family.
