Mississippi COVID-19 numbers fall under 500 Friday

JACKSON, MISS. (WCBI) – The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 497 new COVID-19 cases, along with 12 deaths.

630 people remain hospitalized with confirmed or suspected coronavirus symptoms.

171 patients are in I.C.U.

12 point nine percent of positive COVID-19 cases in the state require hospitalization.
