Mississipppi University for Women Suited For New Year

The Mississippi University for Women held their annual alumni association meeting earlier today.

At the dinner, the university’s president Jim Borsig was present, and he spoke about the changes the university is making.
Currently, MUW is under construction on their library and their residents halls.

For this upcoming semester, residence halls will have new carpet and furniture and the library will be double the size it was a year ago.

Last year MUW had more than 29 hundred students enroll, and Borsig says he’s expecting to see that number becoming even bigger for this year
“We’re expecting enrollment to be at least where the enrollment was last year. We’re hoping for a percent or two of growth, we’re seeing signs that it may take place,” Borsig said.
School starts up for the W on August 15, and students can expect to see all of the projects finalized except for the library, which won’t be finalized until September.
