Montgomery County Man Found Dead In Wildfire Identified

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man found dead in a Montgomery County wildfire has been identified.

Montgomery County Coroner Allan Pratt says Joseph Henson, 63, died of natural causes and not from the October 27th fire.

An autopsy confirmed Henson’s cause of death.

It’s possible Henson had a heart attack.

The Mississippi Forestry Commission says Henson was burning off a field when the flames quickly spread and got of control.
