Monthly finance report shows part of price tag for Columbus storm repairs

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – New figures showed a portion of the price tag Columbus has paid to repair the city.

The monthly finance report that city councilmen will see Tuesday night showed Columbus has spent just over $25,000.

A bill has not come in for debris clean-up and overtime for the storm is still be calculated.

In the same document, the city’s reserve fund is $923,000. That’s about $17,000 higher than this time last year.
