More Fred’s stores to close

MISSISSIPPI (WCBI) – Another round of Fred’s stores that will close was announced Friday afternoon.

49 more stores will be closing. The stores in the WCBI viewing area are:

Ackerman: 318 N Alford

Calhoun City: 71 Highway 8 E

Houston: 905 N Pontotoc St.

Macon: 59 Frontage Road

Mantachie: 67 Watson Drive

Okolona: 511 W Monroe Ave.

Reform, Ala: Reform: 609 1st Ave. W

Sulligent:  5705 Highway 278

This announcement brings the total amount of Fred’s store closing to 133, which is 56% of the chain’s locations.
