MS senators remind high schoolers to apply for U.S. Senate Youth Program

MISSISSIPPI (WCBI) – Senators Roger Wicker and Cindy Hyde-Smith are encouraging Mississippi high school junior and seniors to apply for the 2020 U.S. Youth Senate Program.

The deadline for the application is October 11.

The program will choose two Mississippi students for an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. and a $10,000 undergraduate scholarship. The program will be May 7-14 2020.

Students will meet with the highest officials in each branch of government during the week-long education and leadership program.
