MDSH health officials continue to report low numbers of COVID-19 cases

JACKSON, Miss.(WCBI)- The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting 695 new cases of COVID-19.

Health leaders are also reporting 32 deaths.

In our area, Oktibbeha County has the most new cases with 17.

Lowndes County has 16, Lee County has 12 , and Monroe County has eight new cases.

Statewide, 286,343 people have been infected with the virus. Reports show 6,461 have died.
