MSMS math superstars compete in tournament

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- Math superstars took over the Trotter Convention Center in Columbus for a fun day of competition.

The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science hosted a math tournament for elementary students.

Math whizzes from second to fifth grade were faced with challenging problems.

The goal is to get students thinking while enhancing student’s journey through mathematics.
