Video: MSU Band Wraps Up Camp

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi State University’s Famous Maroon Band is tuned up and ready for football season.

Band members wrapped up their preseason band camp Friday.

The 375-member group has spent the week perfecting this year’s halftime performance and touching up some crowd favorites to play in the stadium.

Extreme heat and rainy conditions made it difficult, but band leaders say they are ready to help cheer on their Bulldogs.

The band will debut the new show during the Bulldogs’ home opener on September 3rd.
