MSU grad identifed as victim in Aurora shooting

AURORA, Il. (WCBI) – A Mississippi State University graduate has been identified as one of the victims killed in a deadly shooting Friday at a Illinois manufacturing plant.

Josh Pinkard was the plant manager at Henry Platt.

He was a native of Holly Pond, Alabama.

Pinkard started with company 13 years ago at the Albertville, Alabama facility.

He had moved to Aurora in spring of 2018 to take over as plant manager.

Pinkard graduated from MSU in 2005 with an industrial engineering degree said MSU’s student newspaper, The Reflector.

His family described him to CBS News as an avid State fan, and loving and talkative.
