Murder charge filed in Tupelo shooting

TUPELO (WCBI) – One man is jailed on a murder charge in connection with a Monday afternoon shooting.

21 year old Sandarius Isby is accused of shooting 27 year old Toyrriius Lockridge during an argument at a South Tupelo apartment complex.  Police found out about the homicide when Lockridge was carried in the NMMC Emergency room where he died shortly after arrival.  The investigation led detectives to The Oaks Apartments on Green Tee Road where they gathered enough information to charge Isby.   There are no other suspects in the case
