New Army Reserve coming to Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-  The military is making a long-term investment in Starkville.

On Monday, a $10.3 million contract was awarded to Trans4Fed, LLC, out of Purvis to build a new Guy II & Will Jones U.S. Army Reserve Center (USARC) in Starkville

The new facility will replace the aging center which sits just off of Highway 12.

The project is expected to be completed in May of 2021.
