New Fire Rating Means Savings For Some Oktibbeha Residents
OKTIBBEHA COUNTY (WCBI) – Some Oktibbeha County residents will soon be seeing lower homeowner insurance costs. The District Number 5 Fire Protection District rating is dropping from an eight to a 7.
The Mississippi State Rating Board says improvement in fire fighting defenses along with fire prevention efforts lead to the drop. Insurance agents in the county are being notified to check for clients in the district and to make the premium adjustments.
