New Toyota Mississippi President Honored

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI)- A reception at the Union County Historic Museum honored newly promoted Toyota Mississippi President Sean Suggs for his new leadership role at the Blue Springs plant.

There is plenty to be excited about at Toyota as it prepares for the release of next year’s all new Corolla.

Suggs said the company’s new slogan is “Start Your Impossible.”

“And I feel very honored and humbled to be in this position. The team members at Toyota Mississippi is the reason I’m here tonight. They do a dynamite job. They work hard and diligent to build the best Corolla in the world every single day. So I’m honored to have an opportunity to have an opportunity to work with them every single day. And I’m going to do my level best to make that plant the best plant in the world,” Suggs said.

Suggs said groundbreaking begins next month on the state of the art visitors center and he announced that Toyota Mississippi has awarded over 500-thousand dollars in grants to PUL Alliance counties Pontotoc, Lee, and Union this fiscal year.
