COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Students learned from a nationally recognized artist at Annunciation Catholic School Monday (1-14-13). Tupelo’s William Heard shared his story with the young artists. Heard was paralyzed in a car accident 13 years ago. During his recovery he turned to painting, and discovered his new gift. Heard showed the students his unique painting technique with a wide array of bright colors. Each student got the chance to create their own piece of art as well.
