NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Funeral services for longtime Noxubee County Supervisor William “Boo” Oliver has been announced.
The funeral will be this Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church, on Prairie Point Road.
Oliver passed away Sunday after reportedly battling kidney cancer for several years.
He was the first African-American to be elected by fellow Supervisors to be president of the board.
